Introducing Danika Pardo
Who knows how you ended up here, but there must be a reason for it, right?
Regardless, I’m thankful that our paths are now crossing.
Welcome to my world.
Writing has always been a passion of mine. I have kept journal after journal since I was a little girl, documenting so many moments throughout my life. The thought of starting a blog has existed for quite some time, but I never made it a priority, until…
well, right now.
A little bit about me?
I’m a daughter, I’m a sister, I’m a friend, I’m a wife, and I’m a soon-to-be mom.
I love athletics, traveling, writing, photography, and love.
Other random facts about me?
Basketball was everything to me for many years.
I was a scholar athlete in college.
Studying abroad in Australia for a semester was one of the best decisions ever.
My wedding day was by far the most amazing day of my life thus far.
I am new to the 30’s club as of February 2020.
One day, I would LOVE to visit Club 33 in Disneyland.
I’m truly beginning to understand what it means to be a kid at heart.
My heart is fulfilled by deep, meaningful conversations.
I think way too much for my own good.
Can you relate to any of this?
I hope so. My plan is to share some of my thoughts and experiences here, for both documentation and conversation. Keep scrolling to see which topics I have decided to highlight on my blog and thank you for being Pardo My World.
The Wife Life
This is us. The topic of love has always intrigued me for so many reasons. So naturally, now that I have found my forever love, I cannot contain my desire to share our experiences together — the good, the great, and the very real. Growing up, marriage seemed like a fairy tale; always ideal and always beautiful. Now, I understand that marriage is something so raw, authentic, and far from perfect. However, it does encompass those fleeting fairy tale moments which I entirely adore and truly appreciate. Honestly, love can be madness at times, but when you have found the right person, like I have, your heart is unstoppable.
Join me on our journey full of laughs, adventure, tears, teamwork, growth, and above all, unconditional love.
Soon-To-Be Bomb Mom
Current Status: Pregnant
Talk about surreal — this is an experience that I have dreamed for as long as I can remember and now I’m just weeks away from meeting our little babe. How is this possible? It is so tough for me to completely wrap my mind around my pregnancy. Meanwhile, it is so tough for my husband to completely wrap his arms around my big belly. Kidding — kind of.
In the moments when I realize the miracle that is taking place within my very own body, it is thrilling, nerve-racking, and pure amazement. I am beyond grateful for this blessing and honestly, enjoying sleep while I still can. Physically, feel great, but these emotions are something else! It will all be worth it though. Looking forward to finally seeing that sweet, little face this June. Best believe my summer bod is about to be poppin’ — LITERALLY!
June 2020 Status:
Mama
Mama — one of two titles that I have so greatly desired since I was a little girl. During my elementary school years, the question “What do you want to be when you grow up?” was a common one. My classmates often listed off their top career choices, and although as a shy kid, I never voiced it, I knew that I only dreamed of being a wife and a mom someday. And suddenly, here I am, ready to embrace all the love, joy, headaches, heartaches, hugs, and kisses that come along with holding these two titles. I guess this means that I am officially grown up, right? Riiiight.
Globe Trotter
Adventure awaits. Everyone has a bucket list, right? Mine just so happens to consist of all the beauty found around the world. Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to visit ten countries aside from my homeland and have traveled to numerous cities here in the states. Without a doubt, I have got the travel bug.
“In a sense, it’s the coming back, the return which gives meaning to the going forth. We really don’t know where we’ve been until we’ve come back to where we were. Only, where we were may not be as it was because of who we’ve become. Which is, after all, why we left.”

The SharpShooter
A passion for photography.
Where business and passion collide. What’s your dream job? Are you living it?
This is a topic that I have been thinking about a lot lately as the proud owner and lead photographer of SharpShooter Photography. Originally, I started taking photos as a fun hobby, never once considering this a legitimate career choice. It has been something running in the background for years now, but recently I have found myself in a full-time photography position. Although, admittedly, I didn’t quite take a leap of faith to get here, I’m thankful for this opportunity regardless and honestly, so much happier. The timing has been impeccable and life is forcing me to pursue this route entirely, so I’m running with it, wholeheartedly. Hoping you enjoy the stories that I choose to share during the pursuit of growing both my business and my mindset. Believing in my bigger dreams now.
Thinking Out Loud
Obviously, starting a blog only makes sense for someone like me who has always loved to write. Those who know me personally will tell you that I talk a lot. Meanwhile, I tell them that I’m just making up for lost time since I was such a quiet kid. However, I know that writing will forever have my heart over speaking. I can organize and articulate my thoughts best in written words, hence my reason for this category which will entail all the random things that run through my mind. For example, how tailgaters are the most annoying people ever; or my review on a book; or my creation and love for a fry burger; or the memories attached to a certain song; or why family means the absolute most.
Whatever ends up being shared here, may you find humor, value, love, and heart.

Business Bucket List
Family Photo Session of the Curry Family Basketball has always been a passion of mine – it was my life as I played for so many years. Simultaneously, I grew up watching the Golden State Warriors, attending games while tickets were cheap and while Thunder was still the team mascot. I loved every second I…
Morning Goodbye
I’m not even gonna lie, this man of mine drives me absolutely insane sometimes and if you were to ask him, I would be willing to bet that his truthful response would be similar in regard to me. I know you married couples out there can relate, am I right? Anyway, on the flip side, we…
My Why
I’ll be honest, this is a very simple answer and it has been consistent in my heart for as long as I can remember. My husband and future children have forever been my why. Far before I was pregnant or married, my family has always had my heart and best intentions. I probably saved myself…
Education
Knowledge is power. Have you ever heard of this saying? I sure have. Yet somehow, I feel like I truly didn’t understand this until these last few days. Although, let’s be honest, I had never put much thought into the saying previously either. Why am I bringing this up? Well, due to the fact that…
Blogger
So, am I considered an official blogger now? Not sure if I can just give that title to myself, but whatever, right? Anywayyy, now that I have a personal blog to share with all of you, there are some choices to be made. For example, should I use only high quality images as seen on…
